Markel has a medulloblastoma and was a January 2022 grant recipient. His mother, Nilka, contacted us recently and said that they wanted to give back. "The Glenn Garcelon Foundation was gracious enough to help us during our time of need and we want to make more funds available for others to be blessed like our family was." She put together a fundraiser, "Step for the Cure" in Nevada which consisted of people purchasing tickets to attend a step aerobics class. They raised over $500 for GGF.
