Host/Organize an Event
No event is too small! We've raised lots of money through Facebook fundraisers, jewelry and candle parties, restaurant and canvas painting studio fundraisers. We even had a grant recipient and his mother host a step aerobics fundraiser and bake sale. Maybe you have a fundraising idea you would like to pursue.

Get a Tax Break
If you are over 70 1/2, you can transfer funds directly from an IRA to a 501c3 charity such as GGF. This is a tax free transfer. The amounts transferrefd to a charity are not counted for federal income taxes, state income taxes, or Medicare B premiums. taxable annual withdrawals.

At age 73, you are required to begin distributions from your IRA accounts. Any funds you choose to transfer to a non-profit count towards this requirement, but are not taxed.
